k_drake, honestly, the deck is very affordable if you avoid using the high end fancy foils and change the manabase. Besides the foils, that's where most of the money is in the deck. I've been flirting with the idea of a budget build...

So, has to be said, with all the commander stuff next year, I'm gonna through out a prediction of another 5 colour sliver Lord. Called it! The hives may be blessed with another piece of synergistic loveliness

Doombeard1984, i'd like to add a caveat to that prediction - OR a 5 color Sliver will be reprinted. At the Richmond MagicFest Sliver Hivelord was reprinted. Although, technically your prediction did already come to be as a new unofficial 6-color Sliver was "printed" - Slivdrazi Monstrosity. As for official Slivers, Wizards has typically been tight fisted when it comes to printing new ones, and while I'd always welcome new Hivelings to work with I typically don't hold my breath when any new product is announced. But hey, hopefully we'll all be pleasantly surprised!

Doombeard1984, oh and an afterthought - I forgot to mention another "new" sliver - Banding Sliver. Honestly, I knew of Banding but never really bothered to know what it does...but after reading up on it I can only say wow it's confusing - and really powerful.

Friends, that card is definitely in the deck. I'm going to order mine - and I monitor the clock constantly. As soon as the promo art is available on this site i'm going to update the deck page to reflect that.
