Aw, the boring elf deck made the top list? Ha ha ha.
I would maindeck Jaggeds over Scattershots any day of the week, especially running four mercy killings.
hmmm, that's a very good point... although it messes with the mana curve if I replace conflux/scattershot-archer.jpgScattershot Archer - maybe replace the tenth-edition/llanowar-sentinel.jpgLlanowar Sentinel instead, for shadowmoor/mercy-killing.jpgMercy Killing's sake? It'd be question of wether I wanted more elves, or bigger elves... now, maybe if I subbed in the classic 2010-core-set/llanowar-elves.jpgLlanowar Elves for the wimpy archers, the lorwyn/jagged-scar-archers.jpgJagged-Scar Archers would be a little more likely to come out...
I guess what I'm saying is that the Jaggeds will b e huge beaters if necessary, and more then enough flying hate. If they can manage to target the,m with a kill, you mercy kill it first into at least seven 1/1 elves. You don't have to choose between more or bigger that way. Whatever fits the given situation.
