More Panoptic Mirror Imprint

So, do I have to pay Panoptic Mirror 's imprint X cost when it enters the battlefield? If I was imprinting Time Warp , do I have to pay it when it enters the battlefield? Or can Imprint be activated at any time?

No, you don't have to do it right away. Panoptic Mirror 's Imprint is an activated ability (unlike Chrome Mox ). So it can sit on the battlefield for as long as you like without doing anything. You can even start imprinting other cards if you like. You can have multiple cards imprinted there and they will not overwrite each other. However, at the beginning of your upkeep, when its triggered ability goes off, you will be able to choose only one of the imprinted spells that you will copy (you can choose a different spell each time, but only one spell per upkeep).

Also note that there is pretty nice "trick" that you can do with Panoptic Mirror . It's triggered ability will trigger every upkeep regardless of whether there is anything imprinted on it or not. And it will only look for cards to be copied when it starts resolving. So what you can do is play Panoptic Mirror , survive your opponent's turn, then untap and during you upkeep let the ability go onto the stack. In response to that, you imprint your Time Warp and it will then be copied when the trigger resolves.

You only imprint a spell when the activated ability resolves. There's nothing in Panoptic Mirror that would suggest you'd have to do it when it enters the battlefield.
